This is a toilet bowl brush. But it’s not just any toilet bowl brush, it even has a name, Excalibur, designed by the world famous French designer Philippe Starck. Designed in 1995, the original sits proudly in the Museum of Modern Art in New York and hailed as a masterpiece. And if you wanted one for your toilet, sorry, it’s not made anymore and is a collector’s item. But hold on, a toilet brush?? Really? And no one said it would clean better! |
Let’s think about this for a moment and when we do, we appreciate the bravery of this man to stake his reputation on making a fancy and expensive designer toilet brush. This story certainly inspired me when I read it a few years ago and made me think of my constant companion, Mr. “But what if my idea isn’t good enough?”
Do you have an idea you feel is great but lacked the courage to tell others? Do you have tons of “what if?” questions holding you back? Do you wish you have the ba**s to do a Philippe Starck to do what you feel is right?
What ideas do you have that you’re holding back on? Please share these with me and I’m sure I can help! Write me at jeff@REVinspires.me and I’ll also share what I’ve done to overcome my own “what if” moments!
