One dark night, the captain of a very large ship saw a light in the distance. He instinctively knew another ship was coming straight for them. In his most authoritative voice, he radioed the other ship and demanded they change direction. In the meantime, he noticed his crew were getting worried about a possible collision, so he yelled at them to hold course and let the other ship change direction.
The voice from the other ship came on and said, “Sir, we suggest you change course immediately for your own safety”.
The captain was furious and refused.
The other voice then said, “Sir, we are a lighthouse”…… oops!!!
